And All The King's Horses...

The weatherman said it would rain near midnight
But really, I don't give two hoots
I'll just stick the old 'Bronco' in 'four-wheel' and go
And besides that-I've got rubber boots!

It's too beautiful here for the forecast to ruin
And whatever's to be I will take
Right now, I've a campfire-a coffee-a loon
And this Heaven that's called 'Gosling Lake'

I try to get here one or more times a year
To camp out 'neath the pines that I love
And as I look about, there is simply no doubt
Such a spot was designed Up Above

It's a part of God's plan, and He's shared it with man
'Though it's more than man really deserves
When he comes to camp out, and leaves garbage about
Then that really does get on my nerves

And all the King's horses
And all the King's men
Cannot put a dead world
Back together again!

It's always great to find a place that reminds us of God. But you are right the world is dying right before our eyes, and like you I'm not sure there is a way to bring it back to life. ~SH~
