~~~~*~~~~
She sang for me today
Again
The sun was shinning
The breeze gently blowing
The sky clear and blue.
~~*~~
Except for her voice
Her chirp, her song,
Her joy
The sweet Mockingbird
Sang a song, for me today
Again.
~~*~~
I saw her perch
From mid flight
A sign of recognition
It was her
That sang for me, today
Again.
William, what beauty we find in nature. And the songs of the mockingbird are worth a thousand symphonies, aern't they. You shared her spirit with us and in turn your own spirit. Thank you dear friend. Bill
