I was the one that cheated my friend,
I took what did not belong to me.
I cried to the Lord for forgiveness and the strength to change.
His reply to me was,"I passover that, Go make amends."
I was the one that was weak and looked for love in all the wrong places.
Too many husbands and ones that really were not my husband.
I reached for a hand that turned me around and changed my life.
My Lord's reply to me was,"I passover that, Go your way and sin no more."
I was the one who in a drunken rage,
Beat my wife and ended her life.
In remorse and shame so deep I couln't go on.
I cried to God," Please change my life,
And have mercy on me a sinner."
He repied, "I passover that, Go build a shelter for battered women."
I was the wealthy one who turned a blind eye to the cold and hungry.
I didn't have time to lend them a hand, I was too busy getting richer.
Even someone as hard as ,I can plead to the Lord and change my ways.
His reply to me,"I passover that, To whom much is given, much is required."
Then came someone before the throne of God on judgment day.
Someone so evil he had blinded and captured the souls,
Who would not change or repent before the Lord.
I heard the reply elearly He gave to this beast,
"Go to the place I have prepared for you, For surely I will not passover that!"
