(Dedicated to a good friend of mine)
We are brothers you and I
Born together of earth and sky.
We dwell in darkness, which we have created
And shun the light
That we have hated.
By fierce lions we were raised, and on cobra's venom nourished
When our spirits cease to roar, then the earth will cease to flourish.
Like aerial predators swift in flight
So our hearts have soared to boundless heights.
Though sometimes we have plunged into the bottomless sea of sorrow
Afterwards we burst thru the raging floods, and breath the air of tomorrow.
We have ridden the wild cyclone into noman's land
And there we have tread across the burning sands.
If the world dares to shackle us in chains of conformity, and keep us bound
We shall strain until we break our fetters
And watch them fall in pieces to the ground.
Then with our fists raised high in defiance of the sun
We'll storm the heavens with words of rage, and live on when the world in done.
