In many, many haunted places
evil vibrations still do linger
those of blood thirst undenied
much too horrible to describe

In haunted places, in hidden spaces
in caves and abodes of fear and dread
demonic forces do lurk and wait
evoking feelings of doom and hate

Bitter memories of times gone by
lovers broken promises, whispered lies
remnant feelings of past disgraces
ever present on ghostly faces

In haunted places lost souls abide
influenced by evil turns of tide
Beware of such errie places dark
They feed their evil into your heart!

I've lived in a couple of haunted houses. Friendly ghosts. Would hate to run into one of the other kind. I love the poem. Good luck on the ebook. I wish you many sales.

Haunting and hypnotic, go, Gwen, Go! This bit is just so shuddery nice,
"Bitter memories of times gone by
lovers broken promises, whispered lies
remnant feelings of past disgraces
ever present on ghostly faces"

Good and classically ghoulish, eschewing gore for mood and imagination!

It is true left to root those very things can grow evil and hate within the heart making it bitter.
