Bed me this night, upon sheets of
Red satin, strewn with black rose petals
Sweet with perfume. Take me now,
This very night and brand me thy own
To keep, in all that love has to offer.
Let me look into the eyes of thee,
I long to become lost in those loving orbs
Serving as windows to thy very soul.
Mingle with mine own, swimming in pools
Of hazel which gleams brightly, for my
Heart doth shine brighter than the sun.
Thy love fills me with joyfulness,
Hear that silent, distant music to which we
Dance to. For it is our hearts, beating in tune
As the candle’s flame flickers, casting shadows
That dance upon our naked flesh, in rhythm
With our beating hearts and tangled flesh.
Bed me this night, make me thine own
For this heart which beats within me
Beats only for thee.
