what's with these cell phones
and all their funny tones?

ain't no mo' "ring-a-ding-ding"
now ya' got all kinda' things
all kinda' sounds
comin' outta' those little holes
so round

when ya' get a call
used ta' be ya'd get
a "ring-a-ding-ding"
and that was all
but, now you can bet
liable ta' be 'bout anything
'ceptin' a "ring-a-ding-ding"

as for me
i chose William Tell's overture
not quite sure
'ceptin' i can't get
my "ring-a-ding-ding"
ta' say "hi"

guess that's the thing
the way the cell phone be

ain't no mo'

guess that's the way things go

Rin-a-ding-ding! Hi! Light hearted factual poem, Steve. I enjoyed!

those things are annoying, makes me want to grab the damn thing out of their hands and cram it up to where even a pathologist couldn't find it.
