your smile so great
you never were late

you were my best friend
until the very end

everyone loved you
i'm sure you knew

that you were the best of the best
but why did god choose for you to rest?

before your time was done
the anger inside makes me want to run

we all stayed by your side
the tears i could not hide

as you took your last breath of air
the pain i felt, i could not bare

i miss you so much every day
there's so much more i have to say

but i know you're in a better place
i can still picture you're smiling face

you are my angel that watches over me
and i love you very much grandma
