Caught In Thirstís Grip


 


A spiderweb of intrigue,


As the song goes, thruming


To a distant beat, one that


Only this mind can hear.


Vivid images of writhing


Bodies come to mind,


As I lurk within the shadows,


The thirst has me within


Itís terrible grasp.  I must feed,


Feed now!  There you are,


Unsuspecting little victim,


Walking in the rain with


The thunderclouds talking


Above.  Your scent, inticing as


It is, pushes me over the edge,


Leaving me wanting to


Taste your flesh, your life


And your soul.  I want you for mine,


To drink from you, red life force


Pumping through fragile veins.


Let me embrace you, drink you,


Release you from this life.  Your essence


I crave, to wash over my lips as I


Give you my deadly kiss.  To have


Your body grow limp, as death


Takes itís grip, within my arms,


Would bring me great glee.
