Not my best work

Caught In Thirstís Grip

A spiderweb of intrigue,

As the song goes, thruming

To a distant beat, one that

Only this mind can hear.

Vivid images of writhing

Bodies come to mind,

As I lurk within the shadows,

The thirst has me within

Itís terrible grasp.  I must feed,

Feed now!  There you are,

Unsuspecting little victim,

Walking in the rain with

The thunderclouds talking

Above.  Your scent, inticing as

It is, pushes me over the edge,

Leaving me wanting to

Taste your flesh, your life

And your soul.  I want you for mine,

To drink from you, red life force

Pumping through fragile veins.

Let me embrace you, drink you,

Release you from this life.  Your essence

I crave, to wash over my lips as I

Give you my deadly kiss.  To have

Your body grow limp, as death

Takes itís grip, within my arms,

Would bring me great glee.
