When I look back on the years, we had together,
Donít know how I lasted, through all the bad weather,
My dear,
I must have been insane, to go trough all that pain,
And Iím never ever, going there again.

Ref:
I thought that you, would treat me right,
But you went and changed, to my surprise,
And the good times, that we had,
Is just a shadow of the bad.
My dear, you have to realize.
You play the game, you pay the price,
And this time it was me,
Remember, nothing comes for free.

I will go, and I will close the door behind me,
Throw away, all things that remind me,
Of you,
I know now what you do,
You never could be true ,
I saw you, through that cheap disguise,
But it took a while to realize.

Whatís gone is gone, itís left behind,
Donít try to, get me to rewind,
What we had, was before,
Itís not existing anymore,
So please do listen, as I say,
I wonít take it for another day,
And then, put it in the past,
Cause it was never meant to last.

I guess that we, were striving for perfection,
As we were pulling in, the opposite direction,
so wrong,
My heart you took, and broke
So I went, and I cut that rope,
I just, could not ignore,
The infection, of an open soar.

Ref:
I thought that you, would treat me right,
But you went and changed, to my surprise,
And the good times, that we had,
Is just a shadow of the bad.
My dear, you have to realize.
You play the game, you pay the price,
And this time it was me,
Remember, nothing comes for free.
