From The Heart

At this favourite old spot here on Glennifer Lake
I am only together-apart
With the trees and fresh air-spring bird songs in the air
I can feel things I should in my heart

Away from the strife-and the hassles of life
Being close to my favourite girlfriend
Mother Nature you see, is a saviour to me
And not even in death will it end

Sitting here on this sod-feeling kinship with God
I am all that I should be at home
But only apart does this peace fill my heart
I am only at rest when I roam

So please guys accept this apology
Just spoken for now to the air
And for things I can't say in proximity
But please know in my heart-they are there!
