Music can be extremely powerful. This muse portrays that power.

Flying away outside the arms of time,

Carried by the song of comfort and love.

One heart, one soul, surrounded by the rhyme.

A drumís beat away from the mourning dove.

A rhythm sustains thy withering heart

As it flows gently through a tortured soul.

Sensations, once felt, begin a new start

And a dual existence will become whole.

Follow me into the realm of the song

Where only the heart will surely belong.

Can you feel the vibration within it?

Pulsating the sense of all thatís to come.

Can you taste the flavor found inside it?

Desiring bites of every minute crumb.

The singerís voice transforms the only thought

Into a mist that only the mind sees.

Where time is a figment no longer sought

And imagination will soon appease.

Follow me into the realm of the song

Where only the heart will surely belong.

The voices and rhythm will lead the way

To a place where dreams are afraid to go.

Beckoning the heart and the soul to stay,

Inside the musicís hypnotizing flow.

No reality can breach its power.

The effervescence of life has died down.

All that torments will no longer devour

The sincerity of the musicís sound.

Follow me into the realm of the song

Where only the heart will surely belong.

Yes. I remember lying face down on the floor and just disappearing into the music from the stereo. I think you need to change the title though. I almost didn't read it--thought the title cliche--glad I did though.
