Your materializing form emerges from an iridescent glow
You tower far above me while I cower here below
In dreaded terror, I stare and quiver as I behold you
adorned in tinted garments of lavender, cream and blue
Your voice is clear and musical, like a commanding etude
I gape in fascination, breathless, helpless and subdued

Your overwhelming presence has entranced me
Your startling questions have unnerved me
They are engraved upon my mind, forever imprinted
there throughout the tides of time
Yes, I hear your melodic, sweet song of query
I struggle ecstatically, mesmerized with its harmony
For it is wondrous music, utterly sublime
I understand you clearly, yet am I speechless
No words with which to answer can I find

In breathless stupor I shake in wondrous ecstasy
My soul stirs deep within as I repeat your decree
Dare I accept the challenge of this awesome quest?
My heart beats erratically within my heaving breast
I summon all my courage, from the very depths of me
Finally, I whimper softly, a reply to the inquiry
You may relay my answers to the heavens
I pray that I shall be blessed

Angel! I call gingerly, declaring my answers to the quest
Angel! I whisper softly, The answers are Yes! And yes! And yes!

I just came upon this angel yes poem today and did find some joy out of reading it. It is different and I could never write like you do, but I enjoyed it today and it did give me much joy in reading it. Glad I found it today. It is a cold 42 Deg day and very windy here.

Great art and artistry in the words and image. It reminds me of the words of the father in 'A Room with a View', who wanted his son to realise beside the eternal question mark there was a Yes, and a Yes, and a Yes!

Gwen ... a very beautiful poem and the picture selection was excellent. In the end it came down to Yes, Yes, Yes. Well after all the splendor you encountered, what else could it be but yes! Your friend Bill

some would praise your imagination and its ability to fabricate such an episode. I would rather laud what I expect was a true and metaphysical experience. I have encountered angels, and your description, especially of the musical voice and your awe at their authority makes me suspect an actual encounter whether in a vision or in a dream. Of course, such a foolish perception as I proffer should only be uttered in sotto voice.
