H.M.S Sea Bound

H.M.S Sea Bound

Blast of icy cold rocks the mast,

Foamy waves shroud the battered deck.

Figurine tall, sullen, standing steadfast.

Hills from afar cloaked snow white,

Seem to offer little shelter from the sea.

Waves shatter down like the hand of God with such ferocious might.

Ships hands fight to steady the faltering ship,

The mast rocks dangerously two and fro.

A crack of thunder deafens the sky like a huge sounding whip.

Wall of foamy water seals the crews fate,

Laying her firmly to rest beneath the sea.

Folk still say if you listen hard,

You can hear the dying screams of a mate.
