The fun and danger of riding motorbikes.

Start of day
Fabulous weather
Out with bike
On with leather

Visor down
Must look cool
Even when
Stopping for fuel

Queue ahead
Donít really care
Pass the line
As if not there

Scenery just a blur
As miles you burn
Pushing through
Twist and turn

Open throttle
Still more speed
Got a craving
Addictive need

National limit?
Doing just double
Concentration slips
Now thereís trouble

Line of cars
Flying past
Bend approaching
Much to fast

Bike can do it
But will you
Lucky this time
Just got through

Grim Reaper there
You to greet
Missed this time
By one heart beat

So remember when
All said and done
Bikingís just great
Real good fun

Though not I think
To end up dead
So ease up please
Enough said?

Wonderful message....ease up and I'll get on. Like the messages you weave into your poetry.

Thanks,

Emilie

Love it. Never been on one, but would love to try it.

Phew, had my heart in my mouth for a while there...was out of breath by the end of the poem....now for goodness sake take care.
Mind you, with so much traffic on the english roads these days, I might just buy me one of these too....got the need for speed now.
