just sumpin' 'bout Holidays
makes me wish
they'd just go away
they always seem ta' play
with my head
with my mind
always bring back what's been left behind
shit, that ain't too kind

Novembers, Decembers
yeah, those i remembers
Thanks for nuthin'
gettin' sumpin'
& our birthdays
what can i says
on my heart
New Years suppossed ta' be
a New Start
dudn't seem ta' be that way
for me

hearts that ryhme
Easter - hidn' eggs around
used ta' love ta' hear the kid's sound
their laughter outside the doors
that was before
you were gone everafter
out the door
there went the laughter
of little eggs & colored eggs

then what is it
or labors day
sure reals
and favors
who favors that time
alone in memories
of past times

4th of July
i ask myself why
why try
why cry
what happened ta' BBQ's
what happened ta' you

but the Holidays keep comin' around
always bring that lonesome sound
always makes me feel down

but tomorrow's another day
aw, shit, it's a holiday
oh well. oh hell
Saturday's the 5th
giuess that's a gift
God gives when He give's us a lift
if ya' don't like Life tomorrow
is ya' feel the sorrow
don't borrow from today
don't give yesterday away
just say
oh well,
there's always tomorrow
another day
