Circular path of self-deception and thwarted desire. |
|
~Cruel Heart~
Cruel heart,
tattered and torn;
see ye not?
Cruel heart,
tear-stained, withered soul;
feel ye not?
Cruel heart,
of fearful anguished song;
hear ye not?
Cruel heart,
blinded mind hath forsaken soul’s desire;
realize ye not?
Cruel heart,
on oblivion’s desolate path;
observe ye not?
Cruel heart,
atremble with secret yearning;
sense ye not?
Cruel heart,
of self-devouring fate;
know ye not?

Handicap is doled out at random, by accident or fate in life's dynamics whether it be a severed heart or limb..."atremble with secret yearning"...'tis better to come out unscathed than self-deception...

| Nice...very nice...a cruel heart is simply not. Sometimes they change but more often, they just wither and fester. Good job here. |
