Teach Me To Cope

Lord Give Me the strengh and the Wisdom

TEACH ME TO COPE>

How do I cope Lord, when people I meet, have crippled hands or twisted feet,
Or eyes that are blind or clothes not so neat,
My mind betrays me, I don`t know what to say

Autistics, spastics, all need their place, to live out their lives as part of our race,
Why is it then I feel so disgraced,
When I see twisted bodies or a distorted face.
Is it my guilt because I am whole, help me to look in the depths of my soul.

Deal with my fears , cast my aversions aside,
Let me realise these people still have their pride
Most deal with their burdens as best as they can
Life still is precious despite its demands

Give me the strength to overcome fear,
Of unknown problems, make my mind clear,
Allow me to help Lord, to give people hope,
And above all things Lord, please teach me to cope.

Reach out, touch someone not necessarily a real touch but even the touch of love and understanding can mean so much!!!!

Reach out and touch someone who needs touching John, and you will cope. Look inward not skyward to find the strength that God gives us all. Love those who cannot even love themselves. Be a brother to those who have no brother. Put your love in your heart in place of revulsion. Then you can cope John. Then you will cope John. Action always speaks louder than words. Bill Murray
