Walking

A simple walk in the coutryside.

singing from birds far distance flown
light steps through barley mown
butterflies flutter on gentle breeze
what is it that my nostrils tease
just air perfumed from flowers' scent
if paradise mentioned this surely meant
could Mother Nature's perfect touch
alone speed my heart this much
it is the woman who walks by my side
not wonders like hay fresh dried
it is at her that my loving eyes stare
hands trying to control wind swept hair
her beaming smile all genuine and true
as a countryside's joy we stroll through
lay down beneath the green leafed tree
enjoying what's presented so beautifully
above more birds so graceful and fleet
tranquil serenity surely never be beat

Yet I can top this seemingly ideal
as with our bodies our love we seal
