Is it a virus? Or just the Pokey pokey 'puter?

I wait until it gets rea-dy
I wait and patience thins
The computer is a marvelous thing
But waiting wears out my skin
I could be playing in the yard
Or crocheting a brand new scarf
But instead I "crash" and restart it
Then wait and want to barf
Poof! All of a sudden the 'puter is fine
And the creative wheels start to spin
And out pops a poem or a chapter
Or an email; and life is good,
Then I grin.

You are a great upbeat poet. You have the ability to put smiles on people's faces. An incredible talent. I will come back and read all of your poems. Actually, can you just put me on your list and send me the poems as you upload them. I just love them and your poems have made a stressful day into a great fun day. Thanks!

It has been my experience that
Computers make great servants
but terrible masters.
They mean to rule benevolently,
but they mean to rule.
Great poem, Lynn.
