Monya

Yet another young mother taken from us in the prime of life.

                                        Monya

Her younger years were sort of wild, and dark is the path at night.

And then she met her anchor in life, her Greg was the one bright light.

She bore a son, and tho her heart, would never be the same.

She nurtured Wesley night and day,her love would never wane.

Her mind was set, her purpose clear, her goal would not be swayed.

She'd raise her son as she saw fit, a promise she had made.

A mind of her own, her opinions clear, embarrassment, not her concern.

She did what she said, said what she did,her respect was something you earned.

She was always there when help was needed, for a sitter, a helper, or a game.

She did it all, complained a little, but it all got done just the same.

For everything she did for fun,her actions were hardly clever.

But what she had, she knew she had,she encased it, embraced it, whatever.

She will be missed by family and friends, her uniqueness was quite clear.

She came, she went, she left her mark. She's Monya, she will always be near.

                                       Don
