Ferocious Heart

“Live your life with an open heart
And not with the ferocious thoughts”
-Bhuwan Thapaliya

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Life governed by a ferocious heart
Would soon descend into the sludge
Of devastation from the clout of its
Own compressed nefarious thoughts
For it paralyses the veins of compassion
And smolders the blood of divine love
In the furnace of interminable disgust
Deceived by the glitter of transient lust
Constantly asserted by the physical norms
Beyond the domains of conscious resort
In this seriously wounded comatose Earth,
Where the conscience of the unconscious
Eclipses the conscience of the conscious
With the mysterious dust of putrefaction
That contaminates the vibes of harmony
And conceal its root in the sludge of discord
As innately indicated by the ferocious heart

It's that last verse that's the clincher in this outstanding poem:

As innately indicated by the ferocious heart

The keyword here "innately" ... sad that many folks are like that!
