Many times when we are in a test
we do wonder what we should do
We shift about, trying to see our way out
failing to wait, and let God bring us

We began to try, and fix it ourselves
forgetting to leave the ship in his
For when our sights are on, the rising
it takes our focus off dry land

Not realizing that we, will reach the
believing that God is in control
For he is the one, who is stirring us
and our lives in his hands he holds

You see this ship was purchased by his
so, why would he abandon us
Seeing all things are working, for our
and on his word, we can rely on and

Now don't jump the ship, when troubles
don't bail out when the going gets tough
Hold on to faith and ride it on out
even when, it may get a little rough

Our Savior has braved the waters before
and has stood every storm that came
Now he is banking on us, to hang on in
and at the end, of the run, we will gain

So strap yourselves in, and buckle down
in his word
send fear and doubt, on it's way
For your ship is secured, by the power
in his name
and we can use it, whenever we pray

You're very right! Impatience is a beast that we all detest yet behold within ourselves. Your inspiration to remind us that time is ours and patience is to be grabbed is wonderful, Mary!
