...ragin' river roarin' downward, sweeps away this little man....

just cast off all of your troubles
out into the ragin' springtime runoff
as the flood of emotions rush down
from the peaks to shinin' sea
just throw off all of your troubles
out into the ragin' torrent
let the floodgates open up
and release those painful memories

flood of emotions - set to burst forth o'er the dam
ragin' river roarin' downward
sweeps away this little man
i am a survivor - after years of swimmin' ag'in the tide
washed away by my own tears
that o'er the years i cried
