My heart is torn asunder
Standing out in a field of thunder
My arms are spread up to the sky
Me crying, why...oh why
Don’t deceive me, not here, not now
Yes, yes, yes, they’ll always look for a way...somehow
Just love me and leave me screaming for more
I beg you, I demand of you, this I implore
Stay with me now, please...just a little while longer
Your presence always makes me feel so much stronger
It is not him, the loverboy who makes me confused
I love him, but I always feel so abused
You are the one, my king, my sun
Show me the end to the needy one
He has a her, or perhaps it is a him
Chasing all over the internet as if on a whim
This person we’ll assume is a her
She’s cloaked in poetic myrrh
She thinks I am a moron so easily played
Hoping my love stories will leave him betrayed
But I see her standing over there on the side
With secret harmonies, hoping to be his bride
The truth will come out...eventually
Until then I’ll stand out in the rain...perpetually

if it weren't for the rain, how'd I wash the back of my neck? The warm summer rain. There's more love in that. Sweet rain drops for you, love. sorry for your heart ache.

The title attracted me because I love a thunderstorm (the picture is super!), but I do so hope this is fictional, dear Supergirl.
Well written!
