Life's crayolas
go on and on
far beyond what we can color
the emotions that we feel
those are real
the motions out there in the oceans
they're in the sky
we all wonder why
the moon's movement across the sky
sometimes makes us cry
it's the whine
it's the wine

it's mine

but it's the crayons colors
yellow and blues
red and greens
that give life it's meens
sometimes it's purple
sometimes it's red
somethymes it's green
you know what i mean?
sometimes it's clouds in the sky
sometimes we never know the reason why
what was there blue went by
sometimes we never know why
sometimes we just had to try
to find the greens
again, you know what i mean?
search for the red
find the orange
there's a word you can't rhyme
ain't that strange
that's yellow and red
the color of the sun
son of a gun
red and yellow
passions felt
cards dealt
like aces and queens
do you know what I mean?
look for the flowers
out in the field
what colors are there
what flavors do they yield
ah such is life
like an ex-wife
remember the love
remember the pain
try not to go insane
at least not too soon
remember the passion
remember the moon

Steve, life is a kaleidoscope and you captured the ever shifting colours of it in this poem. Well done!

That was the huge harvest moon...did you reach for it?
