I know most like happier poetry .. Well, I have not posted as much because I am not sure how some would take what I write.. It is not that I am all negative. I think it is me just finally making sense of some pretty heavy issues. Besides if you think these are bad you should read my teen stuff. LOL

In a vacuum
she seeks her heart..
Frozen with fear..
She finds
No tomorrow..
She tastes..
She sees..
She feels
Yet knows..
She is but
an illusion..
She is a ray
of light
That reflects..
Her capacity to trust.
Grinds with torturous
silent screams.
All is halted..
Life stops..
People grow weary..
Deep dark memories..
Take bites of her soul..
From deep within..
A place she
does not know..
She is but
a reflection
of a human..
Once she
Could love..
Be loved..
Now distant
in the wake
of the roads
of fate she
has traveled..
Miles and miles..
She has walked..
This road of life..
To find..
She has to stop..
Barricaded ..
Dead end
The dead-end
of her mind..
A memory
She does not
really know.
Does not quite
But there..
In the deepest places..
within her..
Desperately wanting out..
Wanting the pain
to scream forth
But her mind holds
the secrets..
That her soul craves..
Yet fights and fears
To finally be freed
Simple peace
with herself..
Has become
her dream.

Please don't try to suppress these emotions that you need to express so badly.Writing is your way of making sense of certain things in your life and there will always be someone who can relate. Your poetry is wonderful and I have missed your posts.
