grey is a color, not quiet right
part black, part white

the grey of the morning before the sun
the grey of the day when it ain't no fun
the grey of the evening before it's night
the grey of Life when it's losin' it's light

the grey of love when it's lost it's sight

the grey of an old man whose waitin' ta'die

the grey of a young man wonderin' why
the grey of an old love long gone away
the grey of feelin' ya' wished it'd stay

part white part black
grey
Life
but what the hey
that's how it 'tis
that's Life's biz
part dark
part light
& try as we might
why fight
just don't lose sight
don't lose the light
don't lose the white
remember grey
remember black
it's the white
that makes it grey
it's the grey
that makes it another day

This is so true. Glad to see Claudette didn't do you much harm. Good poem.

I've missed you too. my email is open - the phone lines really aren't right now. I'm heading to hell again soon.. back to where it all began. I can't do it here anymore, I tried... funny... no one even knows I'm coming home
