There be times when I am traveling
going many places here and there
Without a phone while on my journey
and with thoughts spinning in the air

Riding along day end and day out
needing some answers along the way
Should I do this or should I wait
those thoughts did often say

For surly I needed some answers
to the many questions that came to mind
So to see clearly, the way I should take
for they were needed at the time

But then I remembered my calling card
that I had full access to, on any day
No stops to make, and no need for money
and wherever I'm at I still can pray

So I pulled it out, and put it in the
groove
called the free number that I always
keep
and I waited on the line, until I was
connected
knowing God will never slumber or sleep

Then I heard a voice say, your call was
taken
it was received, before you ever dialed
You see I have no hang ups with my
service
and I can be with you on every mile

No charges to pay on this on going need
and no length of time of it's use
No hidden fees to worry about
and I know my service you won't abuse

For I desire of you, to call me up
I am willing to go any mile
and know that I will gladly listen
for I am your father and you're my child

If it seems as though I'm slow in
answering
keep calling and don't despair
It's only to help you to grow in some
patience
but rest assure, I will be there
