Doubts on the front
Unbelief, in the rear
Oh Lord tell your children
to have no fear

Frets on the deck
worry down below
Sadness on the side
with tears on the flow

Downcast on the mast
upset, laying down
Pity playing hide and seek
sadness got a frown

Anger and rage, is at the stern
unhappiness, somewhere sleep
Lord please bail them out this mess
before it gets too deep

Oars of faith cast overboard
hope let go the rope
The safety-gear, all locked up
not one prayer, is asked to cope

Out upon the toubled waters
the light is flickering, ever so slow
Lord send help, for these troubled times
once more give, the soul it's glow

For doubt is loading the vessel down
unbelief is blinding it's sight
Fear is crushing in, on every side
Lord help them on this flight

Unload the heavy baggage
from front to back
Reclaim your power
and then stay on track

Cry out to our Savior
to keep afloat
For he left us a promise
to be an anchor for the boat

Joy, step on board
tell the loads good-by
The Lord see's the problem
and is on the way by
