stretched beyond the dark shaded trees
oulined by the falling of dusk
brightened with the reflection
from such lonesome pupils
theres a hole in the sky
sighting rapid fire
crispens the bitter air
burning wood of broken limbs
where life was once lived there,

the chill growing still
its darkening everywhere
alone in conversations with nature
crickets chirping
stories told
the rustling sounds of the unsheltered
speaks it all,

dimming in frozen stares
alone out there
all of but a neon glare
the wild awaiting it's midnight air,

melodic breezes
lost souls at float
transparent not to my pupils
for the lost is seen by the lonesome.
