Pain; I see the tears flow like the blood she owns.
The face she sees in the mirror sickens her,
And she doesn't like to be alone,
For what ideas she might have to hear.
She tears herself up inside,
Wondering how her blue sky faded so fast,
And in no one she confides;
Her life into others arms she cast,
Waiting for her knight to come,
To whisper in her ear-
And To, Take, Her, far, From,
And thus she drifts through life,
Wondering why he never comes,
To carry her away from this strife,
And to the darkness she succumbs,
Cuz no one took her away from here....
I see the fire that lies inside,
Burning away at your heart,
Becoming broken and callous,
When did you decide,
To let the world tear you apart,
Times have yet changed,
AndI know they are hard,
But how do you sleep,
Knowing you gave up,
With your soul so estranged-
I try to show you what there is to love,
Yet you seem to only know the dark-
SO many try to change your mind,
Yet your intentions show yet stark,
And no one is to blame,
If you can't mend yourself,
Drowning in your own shame,
Cutting safety lines to shreds,
The knitting is undone,
On precious threads,
That hold you to the world,
You seem to despise,
Visions are churled,
In your cold uncaring eyes...
ANd no one's to blame,
For the loss of your heart,
And what you became,
Though its tearing you apart....
No ones to blame......
For your new-found shame.
