Still I'm here and believe,
I alone shall not leave,
the door to love unattended,
inspired only and never ended.

Still I know thy very soul,
of which I see its every goal.
If thy world were only mine,
I seek but shalll never find.

Still I long to have thy touch,
belong to me...I ask too much,
for a whisper of hope that you might see
before thy life gets the better of me.

Still I'm here and believe,
I alone shall not leave,
the door to love unattended,
inspired only and never ended.

What a beautiful piece! You say so much in those 4 phrases. A rare gift. I've heard that poetry can be a window to the author's heart and I have seldom gazed upon sight as lovely and moving as beheld here. Thank you for brightening my day
