The sounds of distant rolling thunder

Makes my heart pound in my ears.

Knowing that the rains will come

Is from the experience of many years.

There’s nothing like a summer storm,

To keep us in great form.

Lightening from clouds to ground

And pouring rain swiftly falling down.

Sounds of rumbling comes from the distance.

The wonderment of our night sky is what

Makes our summer storms roll by.
