The Good Thief

The love of Jesus took away the debt of the thief .
All our sins can be forgiven if we have belief .

Never fear being poor or take another mans gold .
If you take what’s not yours you refuse the gift you hold .

Thieves may rob you blind but who needs eyes that cannot see .
There were two thieves on the cross only one was angry .

Never worry about the thief or what has been lost .
They crucified the good thief but Jesus paid the cost .

The good thief asked for mercy ,
He never asked for proof .
What is better than to hear words spoken out in truth .

The thief joined Jesus in paradise that very day .
Kindness instead of blindness had shown him the way .
