I feel the crisp morning air gently touch
Oh the smell of the dawn to my senses
This day will stay within my memory
As I sit in peace I hope it lasts through

City streets and noise bombards me
Think back to a different day remember
When was it peaceful? I go back to then
Oh I feel the crisp fresh morning again

My memory hasn’t failed quite yet it seems
Please let me smell the lake at dawn
Hear the birds sing in praise to the day
As this city on the outside seems stressed

My inner mind makes it Peaceful
