the wild side
there, where i hide
away from me
from who i Be
don't care ta' see Reality

i'd 'rather hide
i'd 'rather slide
there on the wild side
swimmin' thru the high tide

fast womin' & fast cars
goin' too fars
there under the stars
there in the bars
goin' as fast
as i can
hopin' it don't last
'till i'm an old man
waitin' for my life to past
just another also ran

there in the bottle
runnin' full throttle
ain't got no time
ta' cottle
any old rhyme
don't wanna' remember
memories of mine

drinkin' & thinkin'
never blinkin'
lookin' you in the eye
waitin' ta' die
wonderin' why
you all say goodbye

it's the wild side i choose
writin' these blues
guess it's 'cause
i ain't got 'nuthin ta lose
guess it's 'cause
the wild side are the true s
just payin' our dues
the fealings felt
the cards that are dealt
the ones i threw away
the one i healt
what can i say
it's the game i play

each hand is strange
each hand is a game
each card is love
or sumpin' close of
resemblin', remembrin
an hold hand helt
old card i been dealt

so old 'em or fold 'em
place your bet
one things for sure
with me yu'll get
an old hand,an old bet
one that you already felt

the lonely ride
with me
you'll see
all you'll get
is a wild card
bettin' it's hard

bettin' & frettin'
what i get
but i lways place my bet
on the wild card
the wild side
that's where i hide
on the wild side
it's a hella'va' ride
the wild side

Hi Steve:

Yes, sometimes we need to hide away from our own reasons, not necessary the bottles.

Good write! I'm glad to see you here.
