The song won’t stop playing,
The words change,
But the tune stays the same-
They tell me it’s my age,
A thing I gotta work out-
But the words keep changing,
Making me wonder,
What it’s all about…

I touch my skin,
But I can’t get past its roughness,
I thought women were supposed to be soft?
I look into my soul,
And see strange symbols burning
With such brightness,
It hurts my eyes,
And I have to turn away…

I write down its meaning,
But I can’t read my own words!
And that damn song keeps playing,
Over and over again,
Do you hear it too?

The words have changed again-

Funny...the word "Listen" just visited your webpage and spoke of it.

Your perception is strong, and the imagery you set off is absolutely awesome.

It's not the words that change but our perception of their meaning.

The words change the second we understand them.. Then we have to try and figure out the new words and the new meanings.. very frustrateing. We change so quickly..inside and seems impossable to keep up with the thoughts of who we think WE should be.

I touch my skin,
But I can’t get past its roughness,
I thought women were supposed to be soft?
I look into my soul,
And see strange symbols burning
With such brightness,
It hurts my eyes,
And I have to turn away…

This what I see in this write.. Sorry if I am way off..
