O'God restore the walls of the heart
make them strong to endure much pain
Mend back what, has been torn down
pick up the shattered remains

You see all the downcast hearts
and you know their broken dreams
Now send your comfort and let them know
that you're still, able to redeem

You hear the cries on every
street corner
and your eyes have gone to and fro
You feel the discomfort, of every soul
and you saw the many tears flow

O'waken my God and still the cries
and wipe each sorrow away
Go behind the walls and renew
their faith
restore hope for many lives today

Gather them as sheep, beneath your arms
let them be wings to hold them up
Shield them through these troubled times
and let your hands become as a cup

With bended knees, cry out to him
seek his peace as covering for the heart
For God is able to lighten the loads
and his everlasting love, he will impart
