The Lord has access, to my heart
yes, into every room there be
No doors are closed, but unlocked
and open
for him to enter in and see

What is needed, within and throughout
every area is for him to inspect
Not limiting his search to find any
spots
but giving room for his word to perfect

I don't mind him peeping, through
my windows
for I know they must be clean
and he can use what solution, that
he choose's
so the good can wipe out what's mean

Upstairs he can go, where thoughts
do flow
curtain's of my mind that holds so much
Left open for him to roam about
and to regulate it, with his touch

No hidden closets will I hide from him
I will open each panel there is
So he can check throughly, high and low
for this purchased, house is his

In my bedroom chambers, he is welcome
there are no secrets left to keep
See, he knows the heart by night, as
well as day
for he is a God that does not sleep

His Holy Spirit overshadows this house
it will warn me of the danger outside
Before it even knocks on my door
my soul runs to him and hide

Every part of my heart is in his care
being kept by his bright light
Therefore no darkness can enter in this
place
long as I'm praying to keep it right

He will protect my floors with his
word
making my feet solid, so to stand
Beneath the weights that may get heavy
but won't sink into the sand

Upon the walls he has covered with grace
and decorated them with peace
and once in a while he lets the house
know
he will cause the storms to cease

Now this my soul, is under lock and key
and will never need to fear
For the Lord has access to this house
of mine
and his presence is always near
