Dedicated to Tornado Alley and its beauty.,
flora shivers
water quivers
pulses spurt with natures heat,
travelers quaver
vision wavers
pressures swirl, begin to meet,
problem's graver
scared behaviour
wind dissolves whole fields of wheat,
raging fervor
lucks strange favor
protected, watching earths defeat,
water quivers
flora shivers
heart still beats.

Ahhh, Erin, me sweet! It's that first syllable of 'heartland' that sets us apart.. your staccato rhymes/rhythms come tripping off a 'tongue' that speaks from a mind swirling with all she sees.. this.. no this.. no that.. sigh.. you see, you wonder, you marvel, you write. Thank god for that last one! C'mon home, Erin.. we'll leave the light on for you. love, katy xox.
