O' the trials of life, flow like a river
how rapid it runs like the sea
But I can't jump ship, I must stay on
board
so I can know what lies in me

Sometimes the waves come very high
they come crashing in, with great force
and as if that wasn't enough to bear
here comes the winds to throw me off
course

Just as soon as I had one problem licked
then here comes another heavy blow
and again the waters began to rise
I shake my head and say, I just don't
know

Life never showed us every angle
there was no blueprint laid out for us
No tools prepared to fix everything
but we go on, for surly we must

and be ready for the next go round
also put our safety-gear in place
and that is positve thoughts, and faith
within
to help us in what, so ever we face

I would love to have flowers every day
and even have the sun to shine
and have no hardships to crash my
world
but, lets just face it" and have a good
time.
