No one wants to face..
the unbelievable..
when they
see her bleed..
she must live
in a world

silent secrets ..
silent screams.

Look beyond.
closed doors to see..
It is on her innocence
that he feeds.
She is locked in an endless
dark closet..

silent secrets.
silent screams.

No one understands
her world..
They preach to her..
they don't see her tears.
She is lost in her own
dreams of..

silent secrets.
silent screams.

Look away from her eyes..
Turn your back ..
Walk away..

She pleads.
To late to change the curse
as her life

begins to bleed ..
To late to help..
the helpless.
To late as the floors

turn red

To late to see ..
To late to listen

To late..
she is dead.
She has now found peace..
In her tiny dark grave.
No longer
will she be afraid.
Gone forever..
her innocence..
her life..
Do not mourn..
There is no need.
She has finally
escaped the hell

silent secrets ..
silent  screams.

Oh, hell, what can I say that hasn't been said. Oh. I know. She may be gone but she has you to scream for the ones left.

No Erica some do hear the silent screams. Those who have screamed themselves for whatever reason. You are not alone with the macabre ideas you express here. Maybe
we scream for different reasons, but we do share this world at different points in our lives. Bill

Your poems are always so powerful. I got goosebumps while reading this. This is so well-written and full of anguish and emotions; yet so powerful that it creates a surge of uplifting energy.

You are one lucky poetess who is gifted by God with powerful words!

Wonderful indeed!

"Silent Secrets ~Silent" is the magnificence of a quill that is wet in ink mixed with ichor, and scented with the essence of knowledge.
