It's Like I Missed You

Simply Put- A Love Poem.

It's like I missed you-

and yet

I've never met you before.

It's like I know you

but our paths

never crossed.

And your songs

sent shudders of recognition

of a conversation

I haven't had in so long.

And now

your music

sleeps with me

and walks me

in my waking hours

and gently waits

as if it knows

my fate.
