c.2003 M. Bennett Hooper

Playing crippled is meaningless when you refuse to walk.
Like you know lipstick wearing daily is inappropriate for a ten year old girl who is not playing house or is she when fondled by her mother’s boyfriend.

Playing crippled is meaningless when junior is more interested in the male choir director at church instead of baseball when you know he has no musical abilities.
Playing crippled is meaningless when you give your teenage daughter birth control pills and are shocked by her pregnancy and accompanying STD infections.

Playing crippled is meaningless when you advocate trial marriages after the unwed birth of your third child by your second baby daddy.
Playing crippled is meaningless when you blame society for your poor choices as if you are not responsible for your actions.
Remember Eve and the apple?

Playing crippled is meaningless but easy when your are blind.
After all it’s your leader dog’s fault that you bumped into a pole.
Chihuahua’s are leader dog’s aren’t they?
Playing crippled is meaningless when one sees why, where, and who you think you’re fooling.

But then that’s politics, life, and blurred vision.
Is it an allergic reaction or a mental disability
Or just plain old ordinary stupidity.
Playing crippled in a crawling world.

Playing crippled is looking without seeing, hearing without listening in one's own convenient little world!

A strong write from a great mind!

With respect,
