Romancing across the room as the ladies did in the old days with their fans and batting lashes.

Eyes meet, merge, in the heart
as two bound forever . . .
lashed to the tenth degree,
Merged till infinity--
meshed by a touch of love--
smoldering eyes surge, heat.
Blind or sighted they shine
until they close for keeps.
Sobbed out, hung on shoulders,
they let the blues ease out
and slide into slippers.
Eyes dance across the room
and dazzle but don't mate
with just any lonely heart.
Got to lock on a pair
playing a melody
that only two hearts hear.
Eyes, anchors dropped, will dock
rocking two boats at a time.
Have your eyes anchored mine
. . . or am I out of line
fishing for a response?
On every street, eyes meet,
but most don't catch our hearts.

Body gestures no matter how subtle; even a simple batting of eyelashes, can be caustic to a great many things! Excellant Sandra!!!!

A coquetish beauty, Sandy. Perhaps you'd like my poem, Antecedent Chemistry. It talks to the passion of our ancestors.
Love ya!
