Don't just smell the flowers
Absorb their colors
Run through them
Let the breeze make its
Own designs in your hair
Walk in the rain
Feel its coolness on your skin
Hold hands with your love
My chance is gone
But you may
LIVE!

Put out your best china
Wear your favorite perfume
Don't save anything
For later
You are not promised
Another day on this Earth
Hug your child and tell
him/her you love them
My chance is gone
But you may
LIVE!

Leave the dishes in the sink
And go hug your love
Don't waste time
That you may not have
Take that drive to
The mountains
You've been talking about
See the beauty around you
My chance is gone
But you may
LIVE!

Don't fret about the future
For you have no control
Take the time to
Have a hot cup of coffee
Relax your mind
The future will take care
Of itself in due time
NOW is all you have
My chance is gone
But you may
LIVE!

Get up early and watch
The glory of a sunrise
Or bask in the majesty
of a sunset
Don't let the hours of
Your life slip away
You can't retrieve them
There's no turning back
My chance is gone
But you may
LIVE!

Wow, what a great reminder of what living really is.
We can be like a sponge taking it all in, but we so often get locked in our little shells.
I have moments of life. Had one this morning.
Just please, don't be so sure your chance is gone. Grab those life moments.
