Are you good at this, he asked
As we walked back to my room
I mean, no offense, he stuttered
But for my first time I want it to be good
I want to learn to do it right myself
He was blushing a bright shade of red
Relax I told him, Iím not a pro
I mean, lets face it you arenít paying for this
But I have a certain amount of talent
And for sure, Iíve practiced enough
To be a pro if I wanted, I winked at him
Hoping to help him relax
This wasnít going to be good for either of us
If he stayed this uptight and frightened
It was never good the first time I knew
They could never get the rhythm or the move
But he would learn and before the night was over
I would show him all the moves
His first high school dance was coming up next week
And if I had anything to say about it
My nephew would dance that night away
First time or not, he would groove

|This is really a great one Sue. I remember teaching a very awkward cousin to dance...thanks for the reminisce!
