i acres of leaf, strong scarlet stalks- sour power! ii. pungent white root, beneath emerald leaves- equine fire iii. first shoots of spring- verdant lances of nutrition turn to summer fern. ANSWERS: i. rhubarb ii. Horseradish iii. asparagus
