Lifting Shadows

Enchanting are thy words to this
Saddened soul, as they wipe away
The tears that fall silently in the night.
Wrapped up in a blanket of serenity,
Thou hath brought forth a plethora of
Dreaming reality to these tear soaked eyes
That watch the heavens above through
Glistening tears that flow like the
River Rhine. Salty dreams that soak
The skin, ruddy face that shuns within,
Until there comes a crack in the shroud
In which this soul sleeps. Thy words
Have torn a rip in the fabric of such
Things, letting the light shine in with
All its powerful glory and love. Lift
These shadows from mine dreams and
Let me walk out into a brand new day,
With no fear of the sun. Let us dance
In the rain and stomp through puddles
Of gathering water, remember those
Lazy days of childhood Summer and
Hold onto each moment as if it were
Our very last days to walk upon this Earth.
In thy arms, on Judgment day, is where
This soul longs to be.
